The Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) and AirAsia today announced their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony to offer greater travel flexibility for MIEA members.
The MoU was signed by MIEA President Eric Lim and AirAsia Group Head of Corporate Sales Alex Tan Heng Lay.
MIEA President, Eric Lim says that this collaboration with AirAsia is a great milestone for MIEA. AirAsia is the first airline to partner with them and they are thrilled to be working with the World’s Best Low-Cost airline. This collaboration is a good step forward for MIEA as members will have access to special rates and travel conveniences, making it a seamless experience for their business travels.
“We are also now focusing our operations within the Asean property market which we believe will grow further leveraging on AirAsia’s connectivity across the region. MIEA is also a member of the Asean Real Estate Network Alliance (ARENA) which represents eight real estate national associations in Asean and this collaboration will encourage our members to play a bigger role in marketing properties in Asean,” Lim adds.
With 238 aircrafts flying across to 180 destinations, AirAsia Berhad Group Head of Corporate Sales, Alex Tan shares that AirAsia is looking forward to enhance its business operations by allowing members to have more seamless travel experiences while minimising business travel costs through the MyCorporate privileges.

According to a presentation by AirAsia Corporate Sales Manager, Athena Pang, MyCorporate is a suite of products exclusively made with the business travellers in mind. It consists of three bundle options, depending on the requirements of the traveller and the company’s budget – Fare Only, Corporate Lite and Corporate Full Flex.
One of the key offerings is the Corporate Full Flex which provides the flexibility for travellers to change their flight time and date up to two hours before scheduled flight departure. This feature is bundled with other services including complimentary meals, baggage, hot-seat selection, dedicated check-in counter and more. Corporate Full Flex passengers are also allowed to hop on an earlier flight on the same day without any changes.
MIEA has to date 5,400 Real Estate Agents and Negotiators nationwide and they will be able to enjoy the privileges of AirAsia MyCorporate, such as flight-change flexibility, essential add-ons to provide extra comfort, more savings with corporate bundled fares, AirAsia BIG points rewards and dedicated corporate client support.
